Mike has been surfing the web and developing web content since the mid 1990's. He created his first web page while a student at the University of Missouri-Rolla. He has since created hundreds of web pages for a variety of websites.

In his day job, Mike mainly programs content that other have written, but when working on his web projects, he writes the content, creates the graphics, and programs the individual web pages.

MikeBecvar.com is Mike's personal website. It is also the most active of all his websites. He started working on the website in 2004.

Mike uses it to host the digital photos that he takes. He tries to update the website with new pictures whenever he does something fun like volunteering to take the Polar Bear Plunge or participate in the Fourth of July Parade. TheClownNetwork.com is one of Mike's newer website projects. When Mike got started as a clown, he spent a lot of time on the Internet looking for different clown websites and wished there was a resource available for the professional clown that brought all of them together in an organized website.

Mike has links to other clown websites and hopes to redesign the website to use PHP/MySQL to store the links for easier maintenance.

JustClowningAround.org is the website of Just Clowning Around of Northern Virginia (JCA). JCA is part of Clowns of America International (COAI). JCA is COAI Alley #170 - Vienna, VA.

Shortly after becoming a clown, Mike joined JCA and has been an active member ever since. At the beginning of 2009, Mike volunteered to update and host the JCA website. Mike posts pictures and clown news on the website on a regular basis.

KapitolKlowns.com is the website of the Kapitol Klowns. Kapitol Klowns is a 100% COAI Alley. They are the second oldest alley in Clowns of America, International (COAI). Kapitol Klowns serve the Washington, DC and Maryland area.

At the beginning of 2009, Mike joined the Kapitol Klowns. He volunteered to update and host the Kapitol Klowns website in June 2009.

OperaGuildNova.org is the website for the Opera Guild of Northern Virginia (OGNV). The Opera Guild of Northern Virginia (OGNV) was founded in 1992 and is closely affiliated with the Opera Theater of Northern Virginia. This volunteer non-profit organization seeks to bring the joy of opera to the local Virginia community and develop regional support for the performing arts through fostering an appreciation for local theater across generations.

Mike volunteered to serve as their webmaster in May 2008 when their old webmaster moved out of town. He has developed a good relationship with the president of OGNV and helps them keep the website up to date with the latest Opera news and events.

NorthernVAToday.com is one of Mike's newer website projects. Years ago, Mike wanted to create a website with links to the shopping and entertainment resources for the South Riding area. Mike created a few sample pages, but never finished the project. Mike hopes to create a PHP/MySQL website with links to sites in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC area.

Before they went out of business, Mike started work on a new website for KENROB Information Technology Solutions, Inc. They showed Mike a website for one of their partner companies. Mike created a website with a similar style, but used the colors from KENROB's current website and marketing materials.

Kerri Caldwell, owner and artist of Fun2CFaces.com, had an existing website that needed updating. Mike created a new website for Kerri that followed the design of her existing website while updating the graphics and text.

Miguel Flores, owner and professional clown asked Mike to update his website, Pelukyta.com. Mike worked with Miguel to create a new website that was launched February 2010.
